This internal modem module is specially designed for Datakom D-XXX MK2 series controllers. And can be used for remote monitoring and control of wireless generator.
The device has the advantage of being internally powered and fully compatible with the device. It does not require any special configuration.
A 1800/1900 MHz magnetic antenna with a 2-meter cable is supplied with the internal modem module. The antenna is designed to be placed outside the generator set panel for the best signal reception.
For full operation, the module requires a SIM card with GPRS support. Voice-type SIM cards usually do not work properly.

Although the controller also supports GPS location for more accurate positioning, GSM-based location is free, available everywhere, even where GPS signal is not available.
