The beauty of hands is very important, we constantly use our hands to express ourselves in non-verbal language.
Hands are a means by which we express interest, admiration, closeness... and the only place on our hands that we can decorate are our nails. Basic manicure is actually the basis of all manicure. This basic manicure helps us start taking care of our nails, and starting from this base, we can create a manicure finish that we like, a basic manicure consists of the following steps:
- Remove make-up from nails
- We cut and/or file
- We process the cuticle
- We massage our hands

Permanent manicure
This type of manicure or enamel can be used on all types
The types of manicure that we will talk about below differ only in that the enamel can last up to three weeks in perfect condition.
It is also necessary to consider that in order to remove enamel, you need to contact a specialized beauty salon for its removal, some beauty salons, such as ours, have an enamel removal service.
Permanent manicure, which we do in our salons, includes peeling or exfoliation and, of course, permanent nail polish.
Semi-permanent manicure
This manicure is one of the most popular in beauty salons, it has an intermediate duration between traditional and permanent manicure, which allows you to change the color of nails or the type of manicure more often.
And it is also necessary to take into account that it is in its favor that it is less aggressive towards the nails than a permanent manicure.
However, like everything in life, it will depend on the products used in the beauty salon, since there is even a permanent manicure with high-quality products that take care of the nails.
Types of manicure: enamel type
French manicure
French manicure is one of the most famous types of manicure and, undoubtedly, one of the most popular.
As the name suggests, it originated in France at the beginning of the 20th century. In this manicure, he brings elegance and simplicity.
After cleaning, cutting and filing the nails, the hands are immersed in hot water. Then comes the moment of enamel, for example, we can apply a neutral nail polish and paint them with thick white stripes on the tips.
Finally, a transparent layer is applied, covering the entire upper part of the nail.
This is just one example, we can combine as many colors as we want, and they are constantly changing. The combinations are endless!
Reverse French manicure
Although this manicure has the same name, it is somewhat less well-known, you must like it and you must also have longer nails so that the feeling of "small nails" is not created.
The strip of the second color of the nail, which we previously put at the end of the nail for a traditional French manicure, will now be at the bottom of the nail, the part that touches the cuticle.
If you like it, this is a non-standard option and it can be very cool!
American manicure
American manicure is considered an alternative to French manicure. In this type of manicure, a more natural look is achieved in the final finish, so products similar to those used in French manicure are applied, but they strive to make the color contrast more subtle and soft.
As you can see, the difference is insignificant, so we could confuse both types of manicure.
Italian manicure
It seems that this type of manicure also inherits its essence from the French manicure, this manicure is exactly the same as the French manicure, but we change the strip that we make at the end of the nail.
It consists in the fact that this time we will not paint the strip from side to side, but will stop in the middle of the nail, giving the nail a more inclined and modern look. In this manicure, it is desirable to use bright colors for the strip. in such a way that it was noted that the bias was done with the intention of attracting attention.
Classic manicure
In this type of manicure, the difference lies exclusively in the method of processing the nail cuticle.
In Russian manicure, the cuticle is processed on a machine, you have to be very careful when working on the machine, and not all professionals dare to use this method, in terms of quality, it is practically insignificant compared to the traditional method of removing and processing the cuticle.
You can't say that this is exclusively Russian manicure, but you can say that in Ukraine there is a trend for long square nails and an overload of decor.
Brazilian manicure
With the help of this manicure, we will try to make the painted nail last as long as possible and so that the growth of the nail is not noticeable, which is difficult, because the nail grows, but we can achieve this by completely removing the cuticle and polishing it until it is in contact with the skin, that is, we will enamel, trying to introduce the enamel as deeply as possible, then we will have to remove the enamel that remains and is in contact with the skin.
But keep in mind that the cuticle protects against external aggression, and having removed it, we can introduce an infection.
decorated manicure
Decorated nails are in fashion!
Decorated manicure is a fantasy on the nails with flowers, shapes, ornaments, animalistic prints, flowers, earrings, hair on the nails... everything you can think of. Here the only limitation is fantasy and space, nails measure what they measure! If you like them, there are templates and markers to make these decorations.
Types of manicure: beauty care
Paraffin manicure
Paraffin manicure is also called full manicure. But this is just a fairly common trade name.
In fact, before applying the enamel, the treatment is carried out, during which the hands are immersed in paraffin until a homogeneous layer is formed.
Then they are covered with a polyethylene bag and gloves, and the paraffin is left for 10-15 minutes to then remove it.
Paraffin is an excellent moisturizing agent, softens the skin, provides an additional effect of softness, relieves pain in muscles and joints.
Beauty came to the world!
Manicure with hot stones
This is a hand care technique that is designed for relaxation and the same.
Several hot stones are placed on the hands so that they transfer heat from the outside to the inside, so that we can relax all the muscles of the hands, as well as their tendons, then the hands are massaged to help drainage and improve blood circulation.
Manicure Spa
This is one of the most complete types of manicure, which usually includes various hand and nail care procedures.
The most common procedures: massage, peeling, nutrition, moisturizing and enamel selection.
Being the most complete, it is very cool, and the touch of hands is very relaxing! Try it once in your life (at least)!
Types of manicure: by types of false nails
Gel manicure
Gel nails have greater durability, they can last even a month. In addition, the result is the most natural of all artificial nail techniques.
The gel is applied to a cold nail, which perfectly adheres to the nail and, finally, is a thin layer that must be hardened with ultraviolet light.
The advantage of this technique is that when the nail grows, the front part can be filled and simply corrected to make it look good. Then we can enamel them with any of the enamel techniques we mentioned above.
Acrylic manicure
These types of nails are made by mixing acrylic powder with a binding liquid that adheres to the nail and gives it its shape.
We can instantly make our nails long. The products used are very technological, and you must have the knowledge and skills to make them perfect.
