DATAKOM DK-30 is a high-tech product that provides control and protection of diesel engine air compressors, screw or piston type. The controller includes all the functions required for a compressor control panel. Thus, additional modules are not required, which leads to a reduction in the cost of the panels. The controller has full protection of the engine and instruments through analog and digital inputs and outputs. It also acts as an overspeed protection relay, protecting the engine from overspeeding. To prevent battery discharge, in STOP mode the controller is completely switched off, consuming zero current. The engine revolutions are read through a magnetic sensor mounted on the engine flywheel. The «early start» function analyzes the air consumption trend and starts the compressor so that the pressure never drops below the lower limit. In order to have a constant output pressure, the controller is able to regulate the engine speed using its analog output controlled by a PID loop. The controller supports the use of multiple compressors up to 8 compressors. The controller's Modbus RTU logic level communication port allows connection to a computer, providing monitoring and configuration of program parameters. The controller can be configured via the front panel or using free PC software. The PC software is available for free download on the manufacturer's website. The free RAINBOW+ software allows you to monitor and record the controller.
