Prayer is not just words. It is a special state of mind when a person turns to God sincerely, with all his heart. In prayer, we reveal our thoughts, experiences, and hopes, and in response we receive peace, strength, and support.
There are different types of prayer:
prayer in our own words, when we express everything as we feel;
prayer in tongues, which is given by the Holy Spirit, is deep and powerful, because the Spirit knows best what to ask for and what our soul needs;
praying together with other people, when united voices and hearts have special power;
quiet personal prayer, when we are alone with the Creator.
Why is prayer important?
It helps to purify the thoughts and heart.
Gives hope in difficult times.
It reminds us that we are never alone—there is One Who hears us.
Fills with joy, gratitude and peace.
The gift of prayer
Everyone has their own talent and gifts. But prayer is a gift open to all. You don’t have to be special or perfect to pray. All you need is desire and sincerity. God always hears and answers—sometimes immediately, sometimes later, but always in time.
Prayer as life
Prayer is a part of our daily lives. It can be short but sincere. It can be a thank you for a new day, a request for strength to get through difficulties, or words of support for loved ones.
Life without prayer often seems empty and restless. And where there is prayer, there is always light, love, and faith.
Invitation
If you also feel the need for prayer, want to understand its depth, or share your own experiences, write. Together we can support each other with a word, advice, or prayer.
📌 Remember: Prayer is life, and life is prayer.
