DK-45 MK2 COMPRESSOR CONTROLLER
DK-45 is a high-tech product that provides control of screw or piston type air compressors driven by electric motors. The device includes all the functions required for a compressor control panel; thus, it eliminates the need for additional modules, which leads to a reduction in the cost of the panels. The early start function analyzes the air consumption trend and starts the compressor before the pressure drops below the lower limit. Using the Weekly Schedule Exerciser and Pressure Calendar functions, the compressor can be scheduled to operate at specific hours and days of the week with preset pressure values.
The device is powered directly from the 400/230 V utility network. It provides internal power for the fault contact and sensors, eliminating the need for a power transformer in the panel. The device can read the mains voltage and frequency. It provides protection against under/over voltage and phase sequence. The 2.9-inch, 128x64 pixel graphic display displays values with graphical support. RS-485 MODBUS RTU and USB communication ports allow monitoring and parameter setting using a PC. The optically isolated digital inputs have noise filtering, ensuring trouble-free operation in electrically noisy environments. The device can be configured from the front panel or using the free Rainbow Plus software available on the manufacturer’s website. The free RAINBOW+ software allows monitoring and recording of the device.
