For joining, detachable connectors and a device for pressing them are used. The use of this joining technology allows, first of all, to reduce the consumption of conveyor belt per joint (up to 2 m of belt is saved), to reduce the time for joining (a team of 2 people makes a joint in 30-40 minutes), there is no need to prepare the belt before joining (simple cutting) at a right angle). This joining method is indispensable in case of various accidents on conveyors, when joining belts with a whole cord or when difficulties arise with processing the belt. The resulting joint is detachable (the assembly and dismantling of the belt is simplified) and has the flexibility of a solid belt. The joints ensure smooth, impact-free passage through roller supports and drums. A uniform belt throughout its thickness will not complicate passage through cleaning devices.
